About the Author
Hi there! My name is Esra Ela Erginbas, and I am a high school student in Rhode Island. As a musician and an aspiring medical student/researcher, I decided to create Music is Medicine to combine 2 of my greatest passions: Music and Science. I’m very interested in how music benefits and affects your brain in various ways, from supporting physical brain function to improving mental health. I hope this site teaches you something new – and maybe allows you to gain a different perspective about music.
